Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information PEIQ collects through this website and how we use it. PEIQ is offered by AAIS Inc. (Aquatics AI Services), Ontario, Canada. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for people in Quebec, Quebec’s private-sector privacy law.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, work email, firm, trade or industry, city or region and company website.
- Technical information: our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this website. Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
How we use it
We use what you send us to prepare your territory report or arrange your walkthrough, and to send you one follow-up about it. We do not add you to a newsletter or send other marketing unless you ask us to. You can tell us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run our website and email, and only so they can do that work for us, or where the law requires it.
Where it is kept and for how long
Form requests are stored on our web hosting provider’s servers and in our business email. We keep them for as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them to us and for our business records, and we delete them on request unless the law requires us to keep them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it. Write to us at privacy@peiq.ca. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d’accès à l’information.
When PEIQ contacts people for its clients
PEIQ also writes to and calls business contacts on behalf of its client firms. That outreach is done in the client firm’s name and on its approval. Each contact’s details carry the source they came from and the basis for contacting them under Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), every message identifies the sender with contact details and a way to opt out, and opt-outs are honoured at once. To stop messages from a firm using PEIQ, reply to the message or contact that firm; you can also write to us at the address above.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new date.
